As Estimator I, you will work closely with members of the Customer Service Team as well as others in the Quotations/Spec Fab Department under the direction of the manager to ensure superior service and quality for our customers, dealers and reps.
The Estimator I must have a keen eye for attention to detail and a developed skill at estimating projects that meet the expectations of our customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESMust be able to work in a team oriented environmentMust be able to absorb and retain the training received in order to become independently functional within a designated time frameStrong interpersonal communication skills both verbally and writtenGenerate quotes using the Auto Quotes platformCollaborate with other departments to obtain pertinent information to determine the needs & requirements for the product being quoted to ensure overall accuracy Develop an understanding for the many products produced by Eagle Group; familiarize yourself with the differences between the Standard items and the Customs itemsUse specifications and drawings along with company internal IBM system to formulate the quoteMaintain thoroughly organized records of all project related documentation for future use/ reviewOther duties as deemed necessaryEDUCATION & TRAINING1-year minimum related work experience or trainingAssociates or Bachelor's degree, preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent a mustKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEBasic mathematical skillsCertifications in either Estimating or other related are a plusPrevious on the job trainingSKILLS & ABILITIESCritical Thinking skillsAnalyticalOrganizational skillsExcellence in Time ManagementAbility to draft professional email or other written communicationWORKING CONDITIONSWORK ENVIRONMENTOffice environment with low to moderate noise level; Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
